The keynote by Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Informatics highlights current developments in quantum computing, outlines realistic use cases, and assesses where genuine performance breakthroughs can be expected. A particular focus will be placed on the impact on public-key cryptography, the ongoing migration to post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and current research activities in quantum key distribution.
